Daffodil Cottage is a beautiful former farm building which has been recently renovated whilst retaining loads of charm and character. Situated on Thatched Farm, this is a stunning location with 2 acres of gardens. Daffodil Cottage is an ideal rural retreat and is nestled next to Bluebell Studio Cottage by open countryside, winding lanes, woods and footpaths, just 5 minutes from both Woodbridge and Waldringfield.
This is a perfect place to stay for a relaxing holiday or as a base for walking, cycling, bird watching or exploring the many pretty towns and attractions of the Suffolk Heritage Coast on days out. We are only 5 mins from Waldringfield golf course and the River Deben which is wonderful for sailing. Shops are nearby as are a choice of good pubs offering good quality food.
Daffodil Cottage sleeps 3 and is one of two lovely welcoming holiday homes at Thatched Farm.
Daffodil Cottage offers ample charm and character and has been recently refurbished. There is an open plan style living area with exposed wooden beams, seating area, dining table and a well equipped modern kitchen. Stairs lead up to the double mezzanine bedroom and steep stairs lead to the single mezzanine bedroom (due to the steep stairs leading to the single bedroom area this is unsuitable for those with walking difficulties or children under 8). There is also a shower room with WC.
Free WiFi internet access is available.
A laundry room is on site and shared with Blue Bell Studio Cottage. Both cottages have their own garden table and chairs plus there is plenty of other garden furniture so you can wander and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Ample parking is available.
A small well trained dog is welcome.
Come and escape from it all in this delightful rural location.
