St John's Holiday Cottage is a charming holiday home offering comfortable accommodation for up to 12 guests in 4 bedrooms with optional hire of a hot tub. For larger groups such as hen parties, there is a double sofa bed in each of the two lounges which provide extra sleeping space.
The cottage has a large farmhouse kitchen with seating available for 14-16 people as well as 2 living rooms (each of which has a double sofa bed) which means there is plenty of space in which guests can socialise and enjoy each other's company. The main living room has comfortable seating for 10 people and an impressive inglenook fireplace with open log fire. The cosy second living room has an internet connection, CD player and seating for up to 6/7 guests.

The 4 bedrooms consist of:
- a family bedroom with a double bed and two single beds.
- another family bedroom with a king-size bed and two single beds and a handy washbasin/vanity unit The bathroom is in between theses 2 rooms.
- the 3rd bedroom is a ground floor single bedroom and
- the final bedroom is a garden room found just seconds from the main cottage; this bedroom is perfect for couples or teenagers looking for that extra privacy and has a small double and a single bed as well as an en-suite wet room.
Outside the cottage there is a secluded patio area with barbeque and garden furniture and night lighting that overlooks the pretty gardens with apple trees and ancient water pump. There is also an additional seating area within the garden. Guests have the option to hire a hot tub.
We do offer the choice of a late check out, please enquire.
There is great off road parking for up to 5 cars and more parking adjacent to the property.
If you are interested in booking, please call the owner, and discuss their booking process. They may ask that you book via a booking form and that you pay by bank transfer.
For safety and security if you need to make a bank transfer to book it is essential you:
- Call the owner or agency on the phone number given on the ad to check that the bank details are correct before making payment.
- Ensure that the name details on the account match with the name details for the company you are booking with (i.e. that you have confirmation of payee before proceeding).
- Never make a payment to a foreign bank account.
The quaint picturesque village of Ryhall with the river Quash running through really is as pretty as it gets The cottage is adjacent to the ancient church of St johns and is within a couple of mins walk of 2 fabulous pubs being The Green Dragon and The Millstone serving tasty homemade food .There is also a handy Grocery store .A 15 min stroll over the bridge and by the river Quash will take you to the next village Belmesthorpe which also has another great pub serving good food Ryhall marks the start of many country walks .There is a walk path from the main rd just outside the village which will take you straight into the beautiful Georgian Town of Stamford. Alternatively a bus runs from the village through to Stamford and other surrounding areas.
