Beautifully decorated throughout, this lovely thatched property with its neutral tones and light and airy accommodation is an ideal place to relax and unwind on a holiday close to Rutland Water.  Sleeping up to 5 people in stylish recently refurbished accommodation.

This lovely holiday home offers plenty of space, with a sitting room with a warming woodburner and TV.  The luxurious kitchen with its garden views is well equipped for easy self-catering.  The light and airy dining area leads in to the sunny conservatory.

There are 3 beautifully presented bedrooms; 

  • one bedroom with a king-size bed,
  • a bedroom with twin beds and
  • a single bedroom.  

The family bathroom is found upstairs next to the master bedroom and the twin bedroom.

Downstairs there is an additional WC.

Outside to the rear of the cottage is a generous patio area edged with a pretty herbaceous border, complete with outdoor seating, which is ideal for soaking up the afternoon sun and dining alfresco.  

This is a non-smoking property. 


Rutland Water is Just a Short Drive Away

With Rutland Water just a 3 mile drive away, there are lots of good walks to enjoy nearby and the welcoming village pub is just a walk away too!  Rutland Water Park is a great place to enjoy some cycling, fishing, bird watching in summer or watersports.  Other local attractions include the lovely historic town of Stamford which is just 15 minutes drive away, as well as the beautiful market town of Oakham, where you can find a good choice of cafes, shops and eateries.

It is just around the corner from the renowned Hambleton Bakery, very close indeed to Barnsdale Gardens voted the UKs No 1 gardens to visit, and three miles from Whitwell on Rutland Water where the water sports, bike hire and seasonal aqua park are located, as well as beautiful walking trails and bird watching.
