This endearing holiday cottage sleeps four within its honey coloured Cotswold stone walls. It is accessed via a beatiful spiral staircase that adds to the property's character. The big open-plan living area is filled with light from its six separate windows. Soft comfortable cream coloured sofas at one end of this room are arranged around the open fire, behind which is the dining alcove and attractive kitchen. A blend of traditional style and modern necessity provides a very well equipped holiday home with necessary appliances. The dresser is attractively filled with pink and white china and kitchen utensils. Rustle up hearty breakfasts to eat before going out and discovering the lovely county of Oxfordshire and the Cotswold hills beyond. A bookshelf crammed with books may be of interest if you forget to bring your favourite novel on holiday.
The master bedroom is decorated in gentlest blues, creams and palest pinks – shades that calm and induce sweet dreams. The four poster is draped in a pretty floral fabric which is echoed in the window seat and curtains. There is plenty of hanging space and shelves in the fitted wardrobe.
The twin bedroom is equally delightful albeit in a different style. Rose coloured toile de jouy wallpaper lines one of the alcoves and creates an attractive backdrop for one of the single beds. Matching curtains and floral prints of the walls complete the look.
This cottage has a family bathroom with both bath and a power shower over the bath. Mirrors line the walls above the bath and the washstand that extends across one wall.
This particular holiday cottage has a summer house in the garden, also a patio where a table with umbrella over and chairs stand. Guests are welcome to barbeque and enjoy informal meals in the sunshine. Lawns lie to the front of the property.
