The one bedroom Barn would ideally suit a couple (a sofa bed for an optional extra two people), is centrally heated and has a large living/dining room with a gallery bedroom overlooking the living area below where a large wood burning stove casts a warming glow. The attractive kitchen is fully equipped for holiday cooking and that full English breakfast if you desire. The bathroom has a bath with a power shower over.
The traditional wooden structure of the building has been preserved intact creating an olde worlde atmosphere and tons of character with exposed oak beams and roof trusses. That historic feeling of a bygone age is further enhanced by the old cobbled courtyard in front of the barn.
There is a private garden to the rear with covered swimming pool which is heated between May and September. The pool house provides a lovely place to sit and relax especially in the months when it is too cold to sit outside. The quiet and peaceful garden has beautiful views in all directions and also boasts a wildlife pond which attracts a huge variety of wildlife.

The Barn is suspected to be even older than the house, perhaps the original dwelling on the site. This Barn has been carefully and tastefully converted to provide a very comfortable and self-contained, open-plan accommodation which is now available as a cosy holiday let for the first time. There is a huge log burning stove as well as central heating which creates a lovely warm atmosphere. If cuddling up on a massive comfy sofa in front of an open fire is your thing, this is the place.
Dog owners may wish to note that there is a kennel for the use of your dog(s).
