The beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and furnished Schoolhouse offers character studio accommodation for two people in a relaxing, quiet and rural environment. The Schoolhouse is comfortable and self-contained, standing privately on its own facing looking south up the fell land. With an integrated conservatory and garden room, the property boasts unbeatable views and a stunning juxtaposition of the old and the new. A multi-fuel wood-burning stove has been fitted in the living area to allow for cosy evenings curled up in front of the fire. A starter basket of logs is provided for the fires and broadband internet is available, and there is ample parking space.

Layout

The combined lounge/dining/kitchen/bedroom area offers traditional features, with its stone walls and beautiful exposed beamwork.

The Lounge area boasts a 32” LCD, Sky Digital TV with all channels except Box Office and of course the cosy log-burning stove.

The dining area has a dresser and dining table with 3 chairs.

Leading through a door from the bedroom area is the en-suite bathroom. The bathroom offers a WC, hand basin and a spacious and lovely “rain” and integral hand shower.

The conservatory and garden room is entered through another door. Here you will find a second multi-fuel stove to keep this area warm in the cooler months, whilst relaxing at the bistro table. The conservatory offers approximately 20 metres of extra living space which is suitable for use from March to November, weather permitting.

Views
Looking out from the kitchen and garden you can enjoy views out towards Scafell Pike, Bow Fell and Crinkle Craggs.

Garden
Woodend Schoolhouse has a south facing garden area with garden furniture; this is not totally enclosed.

Pets
Pets are more than welcome, but please do not allow them to climb onto the furniture.
