The Bothy is a self contained building standing on it's own offering cosy and comfortable "upside down" self catering accommodation for two people. It combines the old with the new and has a multifuel "log burner" stove to curl up in front of on those dark winter evenings. The Bothy is a lovely cosy stone-built Lake District cottage.

Stone steps lead up to the front door of Woodend Bothy and into the lovely open plan lounge/kitchen and dining area, from which you can enjoy views out towards Scafell Pike. Once inside, steps lead down to the bedroom, which with its stone walls and exposed oak beams is full of charm and character. Next door to the bedroom is the en-suite bathroom with its traditional bath with feet, hand basin and WC.

All rooms have been lovingly furnished with care and attention.

Soak up the setting and the views from Wooden Bothy. Looking out from the kitchen area and garden there are lovely views to enjoy out towards Scafell Pike, Bow Fell and Crinkle Craggs.

Woodend Bothy has an enclosed garden area which surrounds two sides of the building and is south facing. The spot just outside of the front door can be quite a sun trap.

Pets are welcome (but are not allowed downstairs into the bedroom or on the furniture)
