The sitting room has a traditional open fire and comfortable sofas and the dining room features a large table with seating for 12. The kitchen is ideal for big groups with a 7 ring Rangemaster oven and a large fridge freezer.
Pets are welcome and there are plenty of walks from the village of Lamplugh. Loweswater is your nearest lake (three miles) and has gentle woodland walks with an award winning pub at the far end. Ennerdale Lake is four miles in the opposite direction and has some of the highest mountains in the Lake District.
Low Millgillhead is perfect for extended families or groups of friends looking to getaway together. Fresh air, good exercise and a warm and comfortable place to relax in front of the fire. This is what life is about!

Recommended Places to Visit: Loweswater and Ennerdale are the nearest lakes. Keswick is a short drive away and has boating on the lake, numerous shops, cinema, theatre and stone circle. Whitehaven is on the coast with its harbour. Maryport has a brilliant Aquarium, Go-Karting and a Roman museum.
