Find a really good place to stay in self-catering accommodation near Aylmerton in north Norfolk. The small village of Aylmerton is a couple of miles inland from the north Norfolk coast and just over three miles from Cromer - almost within walking distance. Church road runs most of the length of the village. It has the parish church of St. John the Baptist which is worth a visit. There are tales locally of hauntings and various shenanigans although this is a peaceful rural area with small cottages and bungalows along country lanes. Some places appear tranquil on the surface.

A country cottage in Aylmerton for a good rest

Any self-catering break in Aylmerton is likely to be friendly and peaceful. This is the place to stay for a good night’s sleep. Towns like Cromer and Holt are busier and offer lots of distractions, eateries and attractions. However, it much depends on the purpose of your trip. If it’s rambles and cycling in the countryside and good rest that you want, with the occasional trip into Cromer or Sheringham, then a cottage holiday in Aylmerton woud be ideal.
