July Availabiliy - We have 6 nights between 10th & 16th July still available and the possibility of a 2 night break from 22nd - 24th July.

Rural tranquility is the Brandy House speciality! This lovely cottage, converted from a traditional stone barn, is nestled into the hills above the village of Felindre, mid-way between Knighton and Newtown. Enjoy the natural beauty of the undiscovered Radnorshire and Shropshire borderlands.

Delightful bridle and footpaths lead from the doorstep up on to wonderful open hills and nature reserve where there are endless opportunities for walking, cycling and riding. Dogs and horses welcome (we have stabling and grazing available for guest's own horses).

It has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished to a high standard and the interior is enriched with many exposed stone walls and traditionally made oak ledge and brace doors. The entrance hall leads to an open plan kitchen (fridge,dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven) and on to a comfortable sitting and dining room with cast iron electric stove and french windows to the patio and enclosed terraced garden. Stairs lead up to a bathroom (WC, basin and shower) and two bedrooms with sloping roofs. The master bedroomwith double bed and sofa bed has a lovely en-suite bathroom with corner bath. The other bedroomis a pretty twin bedded room with views over the garden and fields beyond. The third bedroom being on the ground floor is accessed from the hall and is cleverly designed for use as a either a double or twin en-suite room. The cottage is available for two or three night breaks and for whole weeks. Our prices include all linen, towels and electricity and a welcome pack of groceries.

Just 45 min from Shrewsbury and Hereford, Built on Offas Dyke National trail with train links to the Midlands and south Wales.
