New luxury timber lodge set in the picturesque Wye Valley in a secluded location with 700 yards of private fishing.

EdwLodge offers comfortable modern accommodation consisting of two double bedrooms with twin beds and one single with twin beds, two bathrooms one ensuite with bath and shower room with washbasin and toilet. Large light open plan living space, with kitchen/dining room and lounge with fantastic views to the surrounding hills and up the Wye Valley.

From the Lounge there are two double doors leading to a balcony and lawned area, where one can relax after the days activities!

Variety of Events at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells, The Welsh Botantical Gardens. A variety of Local Arts and Crafts, Several Large Houses and Castles with gardens open. The Elan Valley dams, Birdwatching at The Kite Centre, Walking in the surrounding hills,

Travel: Builth Road station and Cardiff Airport

Good places to visit: The Kite Centre at Rhyader, The Elan Valley Dams, Local Markets at Brecon and Abergavenny, The Welsh Botanical Gardens, The Brecon Beacons and castle remains in all directions!

Annual Events: The Spring Fair at the R.W.Showground in May, Hay on Wye Literary Festival in May. The Famous Royal Welsh Show in July, a Major evangelical christian festival in August also a national dog show, Sept to Oct. a number of horse, pony and sheep sales, with a finale in December of a Christmas Fatstock and Craft Fair at the RWS.

Good places to eat: Builth Wells has a wonderful and diverse number of places to eat, many serving locally sourced produce, there are places to suit all tastes and pockets. The nearest pub to here is at Aberedw, which serves excellent home cooked food at reasonable prices!

Builth Wells

BUILTH WELLS is a delightful traditional Welsh market town on the River Wye, it had many historical connections, especially with Prince Llewelyn who was murdered nearby. There is a castle mound still remaining which dominates the town. There are loads of attractions to appeal to visitors, it has an excellent range of shops offering wonderful local produce and crafts. There is a swimming pool, tennis courts and a large play area and riverside walk for the energetic. also a cinema and theatre.

BUILTH WELLS still has a livestock market every Friday. The Royal Welsh Showground, which is located on the outskirts of the town, has a wealth of activities taking place throughout the year, the hightlight being The Royal Welsh Agricultrual Show in July. A MUST for all visitors. Not to mention the famous sheep and  pony sales in the autumn. So many wonderful walks start from BUILTH WELLS there are also loads of open spaces for mountain biking and horse riding in the area. Do come a enjoy this gorgeous unspoilt little town, we know you will enjoy it!!!
