White Gables is a very large detached 6 bedroomed, 6 bathrooms, 2 cloakrooms, executive property completed in 2008. It has a private electric gated entrance with parking for at least 12 vehicles. White Gables can sleep 18 adult guests, plus at a request, can also accomodate larger parties with extra single beds and cots for small children and babies only. It is the perfect house for luxury self catering breaks for several families or groups of friends to get together or perhaps you are looking to celebrate a sqecial occasion such as a 40th birthday party. We have something for everyone. White Gables will not disappoint.

Now with added 4 bedroomed cottage for up to an extra 7 guests. Total adult capacity within the two properties with full use of all facilities - 25 guests.

The indoor heated swimming pool has a constant depth of 4.5ft, a jacuzzi, a 50ft x 18ft full size bar / games room, complimented by a full size snooker table and dart run with a disco lighted dancing area and a 42inch plasma screen. It also has a cinema room with a full surround sound system, an equipped gymnasium with flat screen tv/dvd and a steam shower room. The steam shower cabin has a built in radio, mp3 connection point, monsoon rain shower, body jets, ozone and foot massager. Steam is a fantastic holistic therapy ideal for children and adults who suffer with asthma.

An enormous open-plan kitchen / dining / family room / bar which measures 43ft x 17ft, perfect for entertaining with a central table to seat 20 guests, plus extra comfortable luxury leather sofas with a 50inch plasma tv, disco lights and Nintendo Wii System set up with games and wii fit.

As you enter the double doors to White Gables you are greated by an open central staircase with gallery landing which boasts feature coving and a beautiful chandelier. The property has underfloor heating, 6 bathrooms (4 ensuite) and 2 cloakrooms. It also has another luxury lounge which measures 22ft x 13ft with another 50inch Plasma True HD Panasonic TV. We also have wireless internet throughout the property.

We have a fully fitted and equipped study / office with photo printing facilities. A fitted utility / laundry room with sink and work top area, fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, dyson vacum cleaner and a lockable wall mounted medical cabinet containing basic first aid kit (no medicines) Storage area for high chairs. Brushes, pans, buckets and various cleaning products, including dishwasher tablets and black rubbish bags etc. to be found in wall mounted cupboards.

The open plan fitted kitchen is equipped with a double oven, 7 burner range cooker, two microwaves, dishwasher, undercounter fridge, toaster, kettle, filter coffee/Espresso/Cappuccino machines, slow cooker, george foreman grill /griddle, Fajita sizzler, 3 tier digital steamer, New York smoothie maker, juicer, chocolate fountain, chocolate fondu, drinks fountain, and wine cooler. Crockery selection including traditional, chinese and indian. Fine bone china Old Country Roses set - coffee set - tea pot set - servers, serving platters, bowls, pots, pans, wok, rota chef/dicer, tea light hot plates, electric mixer, hand blender, paster machine and recipe cards, electric knife, multi grater, food mill, glassware, ovenware, casserole sets, cutlery, chop sticks, place mats, napkins, table linen + lots more. Glassware provided for kitchen and bar areas.

Patio doors from the kitchen open out onto a private enclosed patio / lawn area with various tables, chairs and benches. We also have a decked area with summer house which provides a safe play area for small children. We have a charcoal bbq, chiminea for outdoor use. We also have an outdoor Ketler Professional table tennis table and accessories + a selection of outdoor games.

White Gables can be found in a very convenient semi rural location just off the M4 motorway at Highcross, Rogerstone, Newport, South Wales at Junction 27. Fifteen miles from the Severn Bridge.

We have many local attractions all within less than a thirty minute drive which range from the picturesque countryside of the Wye Valley, Welsh Vineyard at Tintern, the fantastic mountain views of the Brecon Beacons. Hictoric Caerleon Roman Fortress. St Fagans Welsh Folk Museum and Big Pit Coal Mining Museum.

An abundance of castles, golf courses, fishing lakes, beaches and community farms.

Shopping at Cardiff City Centre where one can find the National Museum of Wales and Cardiff Castle. Cardiff Bay where one can find the Millenium Centre, Techniquest and the National Ice Skating Rink + Swimming pool.

Fifteen minute drive to Roath Park and boating lake, five minute drive to Tredegar House and Country Park or maybe a five minute walk around the corner to The Fourteen Locks - a working lock and canal centre where bikes can be hired for trips along the Monmouthshire / Brecon canal.
