A Welsh country cottage set amongst magnificent mountain scenery. Located close to Trawsfynydd in the Snowdonia National Park, Hendre Cottage is a detached barn conversion on a working farm. The property is suitable for up to 4 people and has 2 bedrooms: one double bedroom and one twin room, both with en suite bathrooms. The first floor is an open-plan living space including a well-equipped fitted kitchen, a dining area and a comfortable sitting area with an inviting wood burning stove. A raised veranda supplied with outdoor furniture and a barbecue provides a place to relax and dine out of doors. There is off road parking for 2 cars. The area is ideal for walking and mountain biking, with several footpaths and cycle tracks leading off into the countryside. Trawsfynydd Lake is an anglers dream, and the sandy beaches at Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth are all close by. Hendre Cottage is a fabulous holiday home in this stunning part of the country.

All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Bike storage. Raised veranda with garden furniture and barbecue plus shared use of owner's lawn. Sorry, no pets or smoking. Shop 2 miles. Pub with restaurant 10 minutes' walk. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

The traditional Welsh village of Trawsfynydd lies in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, and is surrounded by the Rhinog, Moelwyn and Arenig mountains. The impressive Trawsfynydd Lake, which is renowned for its fishing, is only a short walk away and the village itself boasts a pub and a small variety of shops. The beautiful beaches at Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth are close by, as are the bustling towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog. Visit castles, narrow gauge railways, slate and copper mines and the famous Portmeirion Italianate Village.
