Carreg yr Ogof is a terraced Victorian quarryman's cottage in the small Welsh village of Trawsfynydd near to Dolgellau. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom, a double sofa bed and a family bathroom. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen, a front parlour with an open fire and a first floor sitting room with the sofa bed and lake views. Outside the cottage is off road parking for one car and an enclosed garden with a patio, outdoor furniture and mountain views. Set in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park and with stunning views, Carreg yr Ogof is a superb cottage for a romantic break or a holiday in stunning countryside.

Electric storage heaters with additional heating from open fire in front parlour. Electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer in utility, dishwasher. TV with Freeview, DVD/video. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 1 car plus roadside parking. Enclosed rear garden with slate patio, furniture and views of Trawsfynydd Lake and the Rhinog and Moelwyn mountain ranges. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 mins. Pub 4 miles. Please Note: Due to the design of the property, over 18s only plus babes in arms. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

The traditional Welsh village of Trawsfynydd lies in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, and is surrounded by the Rhinog, Moelwyn and Arenig mountains. The impressive Trawsfynydd Lake, which is renowned for its fishing, is only a short walk away and the village itself boasts a pub and a small variety of shops. The beautiful beaches at Black Rock Sands, Harlech and Barmouth are close by, as are the bustling towns of Dolgellau and Porthmadog. Visit castles, narrow gauge railways, slate and copper mines and the famous Portmeirion Italianate Village.
