A lovely Welsh cottage in a stunning setting. Located in the village of Tanygrisiau near to Blaenau Ffestiniog, Penllwyn is a detached cottage in the Snowdonia National Park. The property sleeps up to 4 people and has one double bedroom, one twin room and a family shower room. The cottage is further comprised of a well-equipped fitted kitchen and a sitting room incorporating a dining area that is furnished with an inviting wood burner. An enclosed garden is supplied with outdoor furniture and a barbecue making an ideal private space for al fresco dining. One well behaved dog is welcome to accompany you. There is roadside parking. The mountains of Snowdonia all around offering amazing views and raft of walking opportunities. The Blaenau Ffestiniog steam railway passes right in front of this cottage on its way to Porthmadog, and makes a great day out. A short drive meanwhile will take you to the golf courses and coastline of Porthmadog and Criccieth offering interest for all the family. This cottage is full of character and in a wonderful location.

Electric convector heaters throughout with additional heating from a woodburner in the sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine. TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio. Electricity and starter pack for woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Roadside parking (There is private parking space for loading/unloading only). Secure bike storage. Enclosed, fenced garden with furniture and barbecue. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minutes' walk. Please Note: This cottage is next to the Steam Railway line and therefore may experience some associated noise. Please Note: A sloping path leads to the cottage. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Tanygrisiau was famous for its slate mining and is close Blaenau Ffestiniog, once the capital of slate quarrying. The town stands in an elevated, natural bowl amidst the mountains and has a good variety of shops and pubs.
