Hen Gapel is a former chapel, now fully converted to offer a comfortable holiday home in the scattered rural hamlet of Llandecwyn, 7.5 miles from Harlech. There are two first floor bedrooms, a king-size double with a dressing room and a twin with a low doorway, and two ground floor bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower room and a room with adult bunks. There is also a first floor shower room. The kitchen has a dining area, there is a handy utility shed outside, and for relaxing, guests can choose from the living room with woodburner, the conservatory or the first floor sitting room with pool table. Outside, there is off road parking for 4 cars, and a rear and side lawned garden with furniture, BBQ and mountain views. With fishing available in the owners' 7 acre lake, and walking and cycling from the door, Hen Gapel is a wonderful Welsh retreat to relax and recharge.

Storage heaters throughout this country cottage and a woodburner in the living room. The kitchen is fully functional for a self catering holiday with an electric oven and hob, oil Rayburn (by arrangement with owner - pre set for additional heating and water, not to be used for cooking), microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, slimline dishwasher, 2 x TVs, DVD, basic Sky, WiFi Internet, library of books. Fuel, power & starter pack for woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen is included in the rent. Travel cot & highchair. There is private parking space for 4 cars. Lockable shed for bikes (by prior notice). Rear cottage garden, side lawn garden with furniture, barbecue & mountain views including Mount Snowdon. Private trout fishing and swimming in owner's 7 acre lake. One dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Pub 4 miles. Shop 5 miles. Please Note: Water from treated private bore hole, all legally required filtration/tests carried out. Please Note: Cottage not suitable for the infirm due to varied floor levels. The hamlet of Llandecwyn sits in the beautiful north Wales countryside not fra from the Estuary of the River Afon Dwyryd in Cardigan Bay. Harlech and Porthmadog on the coast are the two nearest large towns. Snowdonia in north Wales never fails to impress, tjhere are few such stunning locations that provide so much to do and see which probably explains why this part of Wales has never lost its apppeal for holidays.

The scattered countryside hamlet of Llandecwyn is set in the middle of beautiful scenery, with mountains, lakes, hills and farmland all around. There is mountain biking and good walking from the hamlet, and the Snowdonia National Park awaits. The coastal town of Harlech, with its sandy beach, imposing castle and championship golf course, is only 7.5 miles away.
