Milk Wood Lodges: Wnion Wood - Dolgellau, Gwynedd, Wales

Wnion Wood is great for Romantic Breaks & Special Occasion Weekends.  With the hot tub overlooking the woods, the cabin is ideal for couples who want to experience something a bit different.  We welcome families with children above the age of 10, younger children are accepted by arrangement. You are welcome to bring one small to medium sized dog over 1 year old, certain breeds are not allowed, a £30 dog charge applies.

The Kitchen / breakfast room overlooks the woodland and is well equipped with everything you could need, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fridge freezer, microwave etc.

The spacious sitting room has two enormous sofas, great for cuddling on in front of the fire, the windows are dressed with beautiful drapes and good quality carpets underfoot all around.

Large separate dining room/ chill out room with sofa and ipod dock.

Sleeps 4 in two bedrooms.

Ample safe parking.

Bryniau ia an exclusive collection of log cabin homes, not holiday lodges. Some are private homes, some are private holiday homes and approx six are commercial holiday lets so its very safe and quiet here. Its approached over two cattle grids down a private road.

Wnion Wood is one of our three log cabins which we personally manage so you can assured of a warm welcome and we are always "on hand" . Plenty of safe parking . You are welcome to bring your bikes to enjoy the fantastic cycle paths in the area.

Just three miles from the old Welsh market town of Dolgellau , it’s the perfect base to explore this magical part of Southern Snowdonia famous for its steam railways and castles. With the Torrent & Precipice Walks almost on the doorstep, golf course at Dolgellau, and the Mawddach Cycle Trail to Barmouth, with its miles of sandy beaches and quaint harbour.

Dolgellau is an ancient market town with links going back to gold mining in the surrounding hills. It still has a Farmers Market every month where you can buy wonderful local produce and a genuine stock market weekly. if the weather stops your outdoor pursuits you can spend time browsing around the quaint local shops and enjoy a meal in one of the many good eateries in the town.
