From Porthmadog you can travel on the narrow gauge trains pulled by steam locomotives on the Ffestiniog Railway through Snowdonia National Park to Blaenau Ffestiniog. The National Park is renown for its magnificent mountain and forest scenery and offers plentiful opportunities for outdoor activities from hiking, to climbing and kayaking.
