A Welsh country cottage that’s perfect for a romantic getaway. Located in the scattered village of Halkyn, 15 miles from Chester in North Wales, Tyn-y-Mynydd Bach is an all first floor cottage apartment. The property is great for couples and sleeps two people with one double bedroom, (which can be made into a twin on request), as well as a family bathroom. The open-plan living area includes a well-equipped, fitted kitchen, a dining area and a comfortable sitting area.
A private patio is provided with furniture and a BBQ.
There is off road parking for 2 cars.
There are several great tracks for walking and mountain biking nearby and Halkyn village is next to the Wat’s Dyke heritage trail. The North Wales coast, Snowdonia National Park and the Isle of Anglesey are just a short drive away. Tyn-y-Mynydd Bach is a superb romantic retreat for exploring north Wales.

The cottage has efficient gas central heating, additional heating from a woodburner in the sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, full size freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. TV with Freeview, DVD, DAB radio/CD, iPod dock. WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot and highchair available on request. There is private parking space for two cars. Bike storage. Private patio area with furniture and barbecue. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles. Pub 5 minutes' walk. Restaurant 4.5 miles. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

The scattered village of Halkyn is set overlooking the Dee estuary and is ideal for walkers and cyclists. Close by is the North Wales coast and the Snowdonia National Park. Also within driving distance is the historic city of Chester, the Isle of Anglesey, Liverpool and Manchester.
