A Welsh cottage that makes an excellent romantic retreat. Located in the centre of Llangollen in North Wales, Candy Cottage is a terraced cottage next to a café. The property is ideal for couples and sleeps two people in comfort in its double bedroom with an en suite shower room. The cottage also includes a fitted kitchen and a sitting room incorporating a dining area. A small courtyard with furniture provides outdoor space. Parking is available in a car park just 2 mins walk away. Candy Cottage is right in the centre of Llangollen offering easy access to all its pubs, restaurants and cultural attractions; it’s also just a minute’s walk from the beautiful River Dee and the station for the Llangollen Steam Railway. Great walks abound, whether along the river to Horseshoe Falls, up to Castell Dinas Brân, high above the town or just amongst the surrounding hills.

The cottage has efficient gas central heating with additional heating from a gas fire in the sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, washing machine, 2 x TVs with Freeview, 2 x DVDs, WiFi. Fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Child friendly cottage, travel cot and highchair provided. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Parking in car park 2 minutes' walk away (Denbighshire County Car Park Pass supplied). Small rear patio with table and chairs. Pub, shops and restaurants 2 minutes' walk. Please Note: Cottage fronts onto tea room’s courtyard which can get busy. Please Note: Complimentary breakfast on first day at tea room. Please Note: Babes in arms only. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Llangollen is internationally famous for its Musical Eisteddfod and it offers a range of pubs and restaurants as well as many interesting shops. The National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig are within easy driving distance.
