A Welsh cottage that makes a great base for a holiday with family of friends. Located in the small picturesque village of Penmachno, Derwen Dir is a terraced cottage that’s just four miles from Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park. The property sleeps up to 6 people and has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds, as well as a family bathroom. The accommodation is further comprised of a kitchen/diner and a comfortable sitting room, both furnished with multi-fuel stoves. The terraced garden includes a patio area. Off road parking is available for up to 3 cars. Many walks and cycle tracks lead from near the cottage and will take you into the stunning local countryside. Nearby Betws-y-Coed is not to be missed with its amazing waterfalls on the River Conwy, and a short drive will take you throughout the National Park or across to North Wales' Heritage Coastlines. Derwen Dir is a superb holiday cottage all year round.

This rural cottage has heating from storage heaters, with additional heating from multi-fuel stoves in kitchen and sitting room. Electric oven with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, washing machine and dryer in utility room. TV with Freesat, DVD, CD/radio, library of books and DVDs. Electricity and starter pack of fuel for multi-fuel stove included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 3 cars. Storage for bikes. Patio and terraced lawns with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3 miles. Pub 5 minutes' walk. Please Note: The garden has steps to the terrace, children should be supervised at all times. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

The village of Penmachno is situated just 4 miles from the town of Betws-y-Coed. The whole area is a haven for walkers, mountain bikers and climbers, whilst Betws-y-Coed itself offers a range of shops, pubs and cafes.
