About Tan Y Graig Country House
How would you like to stay in a former stately home? An elegant substantial house stands in established lawned gardens near Pentraeth on the Isle of Anglesey. A short walk leads to the sea and the beach.
The house was converted into separate luxurious holiday homes. These retain many of the original features such as wood panelling, enormous fireplaces, high ceilings, polished oak floors and exposed beams.
A six bedroom 5 star holiday home, spread over 3 floors of the building is a little bit of self-contained shabby-chic upper class living north Wales.
The former wood panelled entrance hall of the house has been born again as an impressive dining hall illuminated by a chandelier. Think of the wonderful dinners you could host here for family and friends.
An enormous lounge featuring a barrel ceiling, umpteen comfortable chairs and rugs is a place to relax, play party games and entertain your guests.
The six bedrooms are of varying sizes and styles, including one with a four poster bed and a spacious sitting area.
A full size-pool table and dart board offer sporting challenges in the games room. There is something for everyone in this curious period home.
There is more than adequate parking for a large group on the driveway. Bring kayaks, canoes, bicycles and whatever makes you happy on holiday. This is a wonderful holiday location near Red Wharf Bay on Anglesey with beaches up and down the coast.
