A secluded Welsh country cottage situated close to the dramatic coast of the Irish Sea. Located on the edge of the village of Llanfachraeth on Anglesey, Ty Fferm Bodlsan is a detached Grade II listed farmhouse set within 100 acres of arable farmland. The property sleeps up to 6 people comfortably and there are two double rooms, a twin room, and a house bathroom with roll top bath, shower cubicle, basin and WC. The cottage dates back to 1849 and has been sympathetically restored to retain many of its original features, with exposed beams, sash windows, slate floors, and low doorways throughout. There is a fitted kitchen with a pantry/utility room, a separate dining room with a Rayburn stove and piano, and two sitting rooms, one with an inviting wood burner. There’s plenty of room to expand outside too. With an enclosed lawned garden with furniture and a BBQ, plus ample open land, this cottage is likely to appeal to family groups. Outside there is also plentiful off-road parking.  The beaches, watersports, historic sites and wonderful walking of Anglesey are all around you at Ty Fferm Bodlasan with destinations like the Melin Llynon windmill, the South Stack Lighthouse, Anglesey Sea Zoo, and the National Trust mansion of Plas Newydd all nearby. A short drive will also take you across the Menai Straits and into the Snowdonia National Park.

TV with Freeview/DVD, additional TV in 2nd sitting room, CD/radio. All fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Travel cot, stairgate and highchair on request. There is private parking space for 6 cars and water craft. Use of owners’ mountain bikes on request (at own risk) plus bike storage. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture and barbecue, plus ample open land. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Please Note: Cottage is accessed via a long unadopted track. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Llanfachraeth on Anglesey is a small village with a shop and a pub, on the lovely West coast, a few miles from the sandy beach at Trearddur Bay. The village offers easy access to this beautiful coastline, and is also great for fishermen who will enjoy the proximity to the River Alaw and Llyn Alaw reservoir. AngleseyÂ’s attractions can all be easily reached, from the watersports and sand dunes of Rhosneigr to the elegance of NT Plas Newydd mansion and gardens, or the history of Beaumaris Castle to the family fun of the Sea Zoo.
