Enjoy a self catering cottage holiday in the former fishing village of Boscastle on the north Cornwall coast. It's a lovely quaint place to stay with an old harbour and fishermen's cottages and coastal path walks with sea views. Visit the Museum of Witchcraft for an unusual topic for most.

There are several lovely Cornish beaches along the coast including sandy Crackington Haven and Bossiney Haven (steep steps to beach).

Visit the towns of Bude, 14 miles north and Tintagel, 5 miles south for popular touristy places to visit with lots of amenities.

Local events include the Boscastle walking week in the 3rd week of April when you can join a ramble with a guide exploring the town and its history or finding out about Thomas Hardy Country. The Boscastle Food and Arts Festival is held during the 1st week of October.
