A Highland holiday can be yours in this Scottish country cottage. Located in the riverside town of Bonar Bridge, Sunnyside is a three storey semi-detached cottage with wonderful rural views. The property sleeps up to 3 people and has 2 bedrooms: a first floor double, and a second floor single as well as a second floor shower room. The cottage also includes a ground floor kitchen and dining area and a first floor sitting room that makes the most of the views over fields to the nearby hills. There is a rear garden supplied with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. There is roadside parking. All your basic needs can be met at the town just a couple of minutes walk away. All around there are great walking opportunities and chances to watch the wildlife along the estuary and around the Dornach Firth.

Full electric heating throughout, supplemental heating from an electric fire in the sitting room. In the kitchen there is an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD, books/games/DVDs. Fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Roadside parking in front of property. Rear garden with garden furniture and barbecue. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 minutes' walk. Please Note: Children aged 12 and over only. Sutherland is part of the Northern Highlands. The further north you journey in to the Highlands the more remote the destination. Sutherland is one of the most northernly parts of the Highlands making this place a particularly good choice if you want to get away from it all and hope to find beaches where you may be the only soul there. Sutherland's coastline is particularly dramatic with rugged cliffs, inlets and sandy beaches. As a sparsely populated part of the Scottish Highlands, there are plentiful opportunities for wildlife watching, particularly bird watching.

The riverside town of Bonar Bridge dates from pre-historic times, and has a rich history. Bonar Bridge makes an ideal Scottish base, close to the Highlands, Falls of Shin and Royal Burgh of Dornoch. A lovely location, full of beautiful scenery and varied wildlife.
