This self catering cottage has full oil central heating throughout with supplemental heating from an electric fire in the sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine. TV, DVD, library of books, games and DVDs. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Garden at front and side of property with furniture. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 minutes' walk. Lanarkshire in Scotland is within the Clyde Valley near Glasgow.  Lanarkshire has a wonderful rural landscape and Tinto Hill can be considered the jewel in the crown.  Enjoy hill walks and the great outdoors around Tinto Hill.  Also in Lanarkshire is Chatelherault Country Park, a 5 star park in Hamilton.  Also within Lanarkshire is Bothwell Castle, the award winning New Lanark world heritage site and the David Livingstone Centre..

Leadhills is Scotland's second highest village, and was once a former mining village, but today it is a conservation area. The Leadhills and Wanlockhead Railway and Britain's highest golf course are close by. The towns of Biggar and Moffat, plus the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh are within driving distance, plus the Drumlanrig Castle and Estate are well worth exploring. An excellent base with plenty to see and do.
