Steading 4 Balvatin Cottages is a welcoming terraced cottage in a friendly complex in Newtonmore. There is a double and a twin on the first floor, along with a family bathroom. Downstairs is a basin and WC, and an open-plan living area. Outside is off road parking, and a shared garden with picnic bench. From Steading 4 Balvatin Cottages, it is easy to enjoy the amenities of Newtonmore, the Wolftrax mountain bike trail and the rest of the lovely Cairngorms National Park.Electric storage heating throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi Internet, library of books, games and DVDs. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 1 car. Shared use of external laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer available at a small charge. Shared garden with picnic bench. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minutes' walk. The Scottish Highlands are known for glorious glens, lochs and stunning Scottish scenery.  There are plenty opportunities for taking it easy and finding a bit of peace and tranquillity.  Or if you prefer enjoy one of the many activities on offer here from hill walking to mountain biking or fishing.  There are numerous whisky distilleries to be found in the Scottish Highlands, many are located near and around Inverness.  Castles in the Highlands include Urquhart Castle which lies at the edge of Loch Ness, Eilean Donan Castle which is probably the most recognisable Scottish castle near the Kyle of Lochalsh and Dunrobin Castle located in Sutherland in the Northern Highlands.
