Relax in comfort in this Scottish cottage in the eastern Highlands. Located in the peaceful and friendly village of Newtonmore in the Cairngorms National Park, Beagle Cottage is a detached property offering single storey accommodation. The cottage is suitable for up to 4 people and has one double bedroom, one twin room and a family shower room. The cottage has an open-plan living area with a well-equipped fitted kitchen including an AGA, a dining area and a comfortable sitting area. Outside the cottage there is dedicated off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with outdoor furniture. One well behaved dog is welcome. Located in a stunning mountain area, Beagle Cottage is a wonderful holiday home for exploring this beautiful region. You'll find a multitude of interesting walks through the countryside all around you, including the Wild Cat Trail taking in the banks of the River Spey, open heather moorland, wooded glens and burbling streams. The dramatic Cairngorm Mountains also offer a range of activities throughout the year including snowsports, walking, cycling, fishing and golfing.

Heating from Aga in kitchen, storage heater in porch, heated towel rail in bathroom and free standing radiators in bedrooms. Electric hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine. TV. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Enclosed garden with garden furniture. Sorry, no smoking. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Shop and pub 5 minutes' walk. The Scottish Highlands are known for glorious glens, lochs and stunning Scottish scenery. There are plenty opportunities for taking it easy and finding a bit of peace and tranquillity. Or if you prefer enjoy one of the many activities on offer here from hill walking to mountain biking or fishing. There are numerous whisky distilleries to be found in the Scottish Highlands, many are located near and around Inverness. Castles in the Highlands include Urquhart Castle which lies at the edge of Loch Ness, Eilean Donan Castle which is probably the most recognisable Scottish castle near the Kyle of Lochalsh and Dunrobin Castle located in Sutherland in the Northern Highlands.

Newtonmore has several shops and pubs, as well as the Newtonmore Craft Centre and two museums. The village was the setting for the popular TV series "Monarch of the Glen". The area offers golf, fishing, pony trekking, walking, bird-watching, cycling, mountain-biking, climbing and skiing.
