There's high quality accommodation available in this scottish cottage in the northern wilderness of Caithness. Located in the small crofting village of Upper Lybster in the north of Scotland, The Charts is a first floor apartment in the owners' home. The cottage is suitable for up to 5 people and has two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite), one single room and a family bathroom. A comfortable open-plan living area is comprised of a well-equipped fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with an inviting open fire. Guests may make use of the owners' large garden with its outdoor seating area. There is dedicated off road parking for two cars. The local flora and fauna are sure to attract the attention of narture lovers, wile anglers will be drawn to the beautiful local lochs. There's also much pleasure to be taken walking the hills and glens, and with all of the beautiful Scottish coastline to discover, The Charts is a fabulous cottage in a stunning location.

The cottage is heated using oil fired central heating, additional heating from open fire in sitting area. Electric hob and oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, colour TV, DVD player, stereo/CD, books/DVDs etc. Fuel, power and starter pack for open fire included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Large garden with furniture (shared with owner). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile. The Highlands is made up of the Northern Highlands, Inverness-shire, Aviemore and the Cairngorms, Skye & Lochalsh and Fort William. The Highlands is therefore a diverse area with a great many sights and different areas. The Highlands is a large county in Scotland and a sparsely populated area. This makes the Highlands a great choice if you are looking to visit a remote part of Scotland with some magnificent natural scenery. The Cairngorms National Park with its mountains is within the Highlands.

The Caithness village of Lybster sits in a bay with views across the North Sea and the Moray Coast. Lybster has a range of amenities including hotels, shops and a golf course. Bird watchers can observe breeding colonies of seabirds, on the cliffs around Lybster or view them seasonally through the camera link recording them.
