A highlands getaway in a lovely Scottish cottage. Set amidst the lovely countryside near Laggan in the Cairngorms National Park, The Stable is a comfortable semi-detached barn conversion that looks over the River Spey. Surrounded by the stunning Monadhliath and Grampian mountains the cottage is nestled in a picturesque valley. The property can sleep up to 4 people in its single storey accommodation and has a double bedroom with basin, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. There is well equipped fitted kitchen and a spacious sitting room including a dining area. Outside the cottage, guests can enjoy the private patio which is furnished for outdoor dining and includes a barbeque. There is off road parking for 2 cars. Wildlife watchers and walkers will find plenty of enjoyment at any time of year, while the more active can engage with a range of seasonal pursuits from golf, fishing, cycling and pony trekking through to skiing in the winter months. The Stable makes a lovely Highlands base throughout the year.

Electric heaters throughout. Kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine by arrangement with owner. TV, DVD player. Electricity on £1 coin meter. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Private entrance and patio with garden furniture and barbecue. Seperate fenced garden. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles. Pub 1 mile. The Scottish Highlands are full of promise.  Stunning scenery awaits you with glens, lochs, rivers, mountains and hills.  There is plenty to do in the great outdoors here from fishing to walking or mountaineering, there is lots on offer for those with an adventurous spirit.  When it comes to real spirits, why not visit one of the whisky distilleries whilst on your Highland holiday?  Many of the distilleries are to be found in and around Inverness.

Laggan is a scattered village set within the Cairngorms National Park, with a stunning backdrop of the Monadhliath and Grampian mountains. There are outdoor activities in abundance in this area, from mountain biking at the Laggan Wolftrax mountain bike centre to ample opportunities for fishing, bird-watching, skiing and of course walking through the spectacular scenery of the Cairngorms.
