Sands Holiday House - Gairloch, Highland, Scotland

Under floor heating throughout the ground floor. A large fully equipped kitchen/diner with southerly facing views to look out onto. Sliding doors from the diner lead you out into the garden which has a patio and large bench table to use when weather permits. The lounge is also south facing and has a large HD LCD TV and home cinema kit with free sat. The very efficient multi fuel stove in the lounge can be used by guests for some extra warmth and that homely feel. Also located on the ground floor is a double bedroom with en-suite shower, toilet and wash hand basin. There is also a separate bathroom on the ground floor. A utility room with washing machine, pulley drier and freezer are on the ground floor too. Upstairs we have a shower room with large walk in shower, toilet and wash hand basin and three bedrooms. Bedroom one has two single beds, bedroom two has a single bed and bedroom three has a king-size bed. All bed linen is provided. With a secluded location, Sands Holiday House has its own driveway, large parking area, washing line and large garden with a double swing with one toddler seat and one child seat.

Gairloch is a traditional crofting and fishing village. In and around Gairloch you will find lots of quaint craft and gift shops, galleries and food stores. There is a good variety of restaurants and café’s on offer for you to try. The Torridon mountain range is only a short distance away and there are many other coastal walks to choose from. Amongst other attractions available in the area we have pony trekking, wildlife cruises, a 9 hole golf course, sea, river and Loch fishing, Inverewe Gardens, Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve and the Gairloch Heritage museum.
