Toftcombs is a fine country house of baronial and architectural merit set in a private setting of 10 acres. Just 45 minutes from Edinburgh and half a mile from the pretty village of Biggar. There are 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms - with master suite having a super king four poster bed, ensuite and turret room.
There is a marbled hall, a large 36ft kitchen with dining table, reception hall for formal dining for 18, dining room for 10, music room and office. There is a full sized billiard table in the games room.

The magnificent well proportioned reception and dining rooms are great for entertaining. The marbled reception hall with open fire and minstral gallery is fantastic for gatherings, corporate events, weddings and family re-unions.
The house is beautifully decorated throughout with accommodation to sleep up to 18 people. The open fires, large billiard table in the games room and large entertaining kitchen with Aga and large gas range mean that the house has all modern day conveniences yet still retains those all important period features. Catering staff, butler, and housekeeping staff can be arranged as required to help during your self catered stay.
