This great Scottish cottage offers a welcoming home from home on the unspoilt south west coast. Located in famous book town of Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway, Deveron is a charming terraced cottage that’s ideal for a small family. The property sleeps up to 6 people and has three bedrooms: two twin rooms, one ground floor double bedroom and a family bathroom. The cottage also includes a kitchen, a dining area with an electric fire and a cosy sitting room with electric fire. The enclosed lawned garden is provided with outdoor furniture. There is roadside parking. Wigtown has an excellent selection of shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants and is a fabulous base for visiting the Machars, a spectacular peninsula of rich green, softly rolling pastures. The quiet country roads and the breathtaking scenery are perfect for exploring. This is a great base for discovering this corner of Scotland.

Electric storage heaters with supplemental heating from an electric fires in dining room, sitting room and twin bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. TV, DVD, video, selection of books, games, videos and DVDs. All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Roadside parking. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 minutes' walk. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

The town of Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway is Scotland's National Book Town with over 20 book shops. The town also offers cafes, pubs and restaurants. Wigtown is set on the Machars Peninsula, which boasts mud flats, beaches and cliffs. The town of Newton Stewart, the Isle of Whithorn and Bladnoch Distillery are close by.
