Fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Lawned front garden, rear lawn and patio with countryside views. One well behaved dog is most welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 minutes' walk. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Known as the Isle of Whithorn, this village is actually not an island, but a small village on the Scottish coast in Dumfries and Galloway. Amenities in the village include two pubs/hotels, a Post Office/general store, and a harbour. There is so much history in this area, from Iron Age forts to 11th century churches, and standing stones to castles built by Robert The Bruce. The 'book town' of Scotland, Wigtown, is a few miles away from the village, and the rest of lovely Dumfries and Galloway is on the doorstep.
