Enjoy the best of both worlds in this borders cottage.  Situated in a rural location near Kelso in the Scottish borders, Linton Mill Farmhouse is a spacious stone-built semi-detached cottage. The property sleeps up to 8 people in its four generously sized bedrooms comprised of a first floor double with en-suite shower room, leading to a first floor twin, a further first floor twin and a ground floor double. There is also a family bathroom which includes a bath, basin and WC on the first floor. The living accommodation downstairs is cosy and well-equipped, with a fitted kitchen, utility room, dining room and a comfortable sitting room with an open fire.  Outside the cottage there is a lawned garden, furnished with seating. The garden has a steam running through it, the perfect accompaniment to relaxation. There is ample off road parking. Dog friendly, check details for terms related to pets.  The attractive towns of Kelso, Jedburgh and Melrose are all nearby, and there’s plenty of walking opportunities available from the doorstep. Scotland’s capital city is accessible with Edinburgh’s Park and Ride just an hour away, while just over an hour’s drive on quiet country roads will take you to Bamburgh, and Seahouses with daily boat trips available to the bird sanctuary and seal colony on the famous Farne Islands. Linton Mill Farmhouse is a fantastic base for a year-round break.

All fuel and power included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Ample off road parking. Lawned garden with garden furniture. Up to 3 dogs welcome at £20 pppw. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Please Note: There is an open burn (stream) running through the garden. The Scottish Borders are just over the border from England so may not be as far as you think.  Highlights of the Borders include hills such as the Cheviots, the Moorfoots, the Lammermuirs and the Pentlands.  Also in this area are farmers' fields, moorlands and valleys.  There are also plenty of historical attractions with castles and country homes to visit.
