The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, colour TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, library of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Patio area with furniture and barbecue. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 6 miles. Argyll and Bute is reputed to be one of the most beautiful places in Scotland.  With a coastline which zig zags in and out, the Argyll and Bute coast has to be one of the most fascinating and scenic that Scotland has to offer.  Also in this region are islands such as Mull, Jura and Islay which can be a pleasure to visit.  Boat trips come highly recommended for appreciating the full beauty of the Argyll and Bute coast.  Further inland you can experience the beauty of Loch Lomond or visit the Trossachs National Park.

Set on the narrowest part of the lovely Isle of Mull, Salen is a small village with a couple of hotels, a restaurant and a coffee shop. There is an agricultural show held just outside Salen each August. Outdoor pursuits in this area include mountain biking, walking, bird watching and pony trekking. Dramatic coastal scenery at Calgary Bay and the Gribun rocks make this a great base for artists or simply anyone seeking to blow the cobwebs away. The islands capital town, Tobermory, is 16 miles away, and has a choice of restaurants and other amenities.
