This characterful stone built cottage sits at the head of Kilmartin Glen in Argyll. This ground floor, semi detached and single storey cottage sleeps four people in a double and a twin room with a family bathroom. The accommodation also includes a fitted kitchen and a large sitting room which features a dining table and an appealing woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is a large sunny garden featuring a patio, garden furniture and a barbecue, likely to appeal to family groups. The cottage is only a short walk from the famous standing stones of Kilmartin, while many other prehistoric sites are located nearby. There is off-road parking for two cars and the cottage is situated a short drive from the town of Lochgilphead and is ideally positioned for exploration of Scotland's dramatic west coast.

Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot and highchair. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Large sunny lawned area, patio with furniture and barbecue. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Argyll and Bute is known for its stunning coastline which stretches in and out and also for Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.  With a fascinating coastline and a number of islands including Mull, Bute, Jura and Islay, stunning scenery awaits you in Argyll and Bute.  Enjoy walking, cycling or boating in this beautiful part of Scotland.

The village of Kilmartin sits at the heart of Kilmartin Glen, one of the most important prehistoric sites on the Scottish mainland. Within a few miles there are rock carvings, standing stones, burial cairns and the remains of the Iron-Age fort at Dunadd, the home of the first kings of Scotland. The village is home to a church, post office, shop, pub, a castle and the Kilmartin House Museum.
