People new to the hot tub concept sometimes have peculiar beliefs about safety and the effects on skin. Yes, you will end up looking like a prune after prolonged hours in a hot tub, and sun tan oil will leave an oil slick on the surface, which is why guests are requested not to use sun tan oil before wading in.

Indulging in the soothing warm water of a hot tub is pleasurable for most and beats meeting people down at the local pub because it reduces inhibitions. It is easy to see why people would like to bubble away in an outdoor hot tub, sip wine and chat with friends.
