The property sleeps up to 9 people and has 4 bedrooms: two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, two twin rooms and a bathroom on the first floor, as well as a downstairs basin and WC. The cottage also includes a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a wood burner. There is a private garden and shared use of a games room. Off road parking is available for 2 cars. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The Peak District National Park offers great scenery and walking, the cottage is ideally suited for visiting Chatsworth House, and the theme park of Alton Towers is also close by. Brocksopp Cottage makes a perfect year round base for a family or friends.
The cottage is heated using oil fired central heating, additional heating from a woodburning stove in the sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, 2 x fridges, dishwasher. Freezer and washer/dryer in utility room. Colour TV with Freeview, DVD. Fuel, power and initial supply for woodburner included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Cot and highchair on request. There is private parking space for 2 cars. Lawn and patio with furniture. Shared outdoor area and games room. Sorry, no smoking. Two well behaved dogs are welcome. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Please Note: The owner provides 1 free ticket for Chatsworth House and Gardens per person during its open season (weekly bookings only). Please Note: Private water supply from spring.
