Preston in the north west of England, in Lancashire, is one of England's newest cities. It's bounded to the east by the M6 Motorway that runs on to Cumbria. The motorway tens to be busy around Preston because of traffic travelling to Blackpool and Fleetwood to the north west, Blackburn, Accrington and Burnley to the east.
It's great location for an interesting holiday because it is so close the coast, sandy beaches and numerous tourist attractions.
