Spring Hall Cottage is a charming 200 year old Grade II listed thatched cottage in the North Essex/South Suffolk borders. Recently refurbished to a very high standard with a new kitchen and bathroom complementing the wealth of exposed beams. There are two separate airconditioned double bedrooms one of which can be made into two single beds if required, the lounge is 23 feet long which features the original inglenook fireplace, the dining room area seats 8 comfortably so you can entertain your family and friends in style. The cottage has an enclosed garden of approximately one third of an acre laid down to lawns and flowerbeds with views overlooking farm land. Well-behaved pets also welcome.

Christmas Hall is a listed grade II house of special architectural and historical interest and is believed to date back to the early nineteenth century. The was once the village rectory and provides spacious comfortable accommodation with many fine original Georgian features. Constable country is close by , bustling market towns, with farmers markets of local produce. Local villages full of antique shops, art galleries. The Suffolk coast is 45 mins drive away with its many pretty coastal towns. Norfolk 1 hours drive away where the scenery changes to the flat fens of the Norfolk countryside with its windmills and wonderful bird sanctuaries.

Partridge End cottage is a pretty part thatched part tiled grade II listed building set in approximately a quarter acre of its own grounds and surrounded by open fields to the front and orchards to the rear. The orchards have country walks going through them around a lake and you can walk through them to the main village of Assington, which has an excellent farm shop, which sells fresh vegetables, dairy produce, frozen food, etc.; it’s also the Post Office. There is also a pub which serve good 'pub grub'.
