Gloucestershire The Orangery

Originally built as a garden house in the grounds of Frampton Court, this Grade II listed building was extensively re-decorated in 2006. The elegant dining room looks out onto a romantic woodland garden, whilst the drawing room, with its open fire and fabulous new wall painting, provides a blissful room in which to relax. A sumptuous new bathroom includes a luxury double-ended roll-top bath set against the fine 18th century masonry. A very unusual, original, cantilevered stone spiral staircase leads from the hall to two octagonal bedrooms (one double - with ensuite shower room - and one twin) on the first floor. These have views across the parkland and also the village green, and beyond the river Severn to the Forest of Dean. This delightfully eccentric garden house was built c1750, and its idyllic setting affords fine views over parkland and an ornamental canal. Although peacefully secluded, The Orangery sits in the heart of the village of Frampton on Severn with its well-stocked Post Office and store and two traditional pubs. Situated just 2 miles from J13 of the M5, The Orangery is a perfect location for family holidays, romantic retreats, special celebration breaks and reunions.

Herefordshire The Lodge

This elegant and spacious 12-bedroom Edwardian mansion stands in glorious grounds of around 8 acres. Surrounded by the beautiful rolling Herefordshire countryside, it sits just 5 miles outside the cathedral city of Hereford and only 2 miles from the village of Canon Pyon with it's general store and public house. With bright and spacious accommodation over 3 floors, the house offers 12 en-suite bedrooms, 3 reception rooms, a large dining room and a fabulous newly-installed luxury kitchen with Aga. This, combined with the outdoor keyhole-shaped swimming pool, tennis court, gym, sauna, bar and games barn combine to make The Lodge the ultimate venue for a short - or long - break with family and friends. Alternatively, the state-of-the-art electronic presentation screen in the dining room, wi-fi internet connection and huge oak table seating up to 24 make it the perfect venue for a corporate/team-building exercise or even a board meeting.
The Lodge was launched onto the rental market in the summer of 2007, following an extensive 6-month refurbishment project. The house has been updated to provide modern, stylish, bright and spacious accommodation, whilst retaining the original feel and features of the past, such as elegant fireplaces, intricate architraves and the oak-panelled dining room. Our aim was to combine the best of the last century with the best of the present; to produce a vibrant, modern home with a traditional warm and welcoming feel. Our guests to date agree that we have achieved just that - and with more than a touch of the Wow! factor added in.
The walls throughout the house are painted in a warm shade of cream and the soft furnishings and carpet have been chosen in complemenatary muted tones. The overall effect is one of luxury, tranquility and calm. Each of the 3 reception rooms is furnished with sofas in shades of cream, brown and duck-egg blue, each has a flatscreen TV, 2 have open fires and a Sky TV connection, and there are 2 TEAC CD/ipod players and a PS3 console. The 3 rooms combine to provide seating for around 30 guests, but for those who want a moment alone, there are plenty of quiet seating areas around the house and garden.
