Cosy stone walled and thatched detached cottage (sleeps 1-3) in the heart of this pretty village on the edge of the Cotswolds. There is a comfortable sitting room with uninterrupted views across the garden and onto open countryside. The cottage is completely open-plan with a spiral staircase (not safe for toddlers) to the twin bedroom. There is an additional double bed-settee although the cottage would be cramped with more than two adult guests. The kitchen is simple with an electric hob, fridge and microwave. The toilet and shower room is downstairs. Electric heating is provided at no additional charge. No smoking is allowed inside this property. There are two pubs serving good food and real ale within walking distance and a village supermarket.
Attractive 2 bedroom cottage with comfortable furnishings to sleep up to 5 people in the desirable town of Wallingford near Oxford. The River Thames for scenic strolls, cinema/theatre, pubs, restaurants and Waitrose are all within 500 yards walk. Oxford, Henley, Reading and Newbury are 15-30 minutes drive away. The Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon are within easy reach.

There are 4 cottages altogether which can be booked together in advance for larger groups of up to 15, or individually for 2, 4 or up to 6 or 7 people.
