This secluded 1850s cottage has been recently modernised and refurbished, and lies in a beautiful setting down a private drive surrounded by its own private woodland and grazing paddock. The cottage enjoys its own garden with barbeque and use of 20 acres of private woodland and parkland for walking. As well as common birds, we have had nuthatches, long-tailed tits and greater-spotted woodpeckers visiting us to feed. The cottage is a great escape from traffic. This secluded and peaceful 1850s cottage has been recently modernised and refurbished, has real log fires, and lies in an ideal setting for walking surrounded by its own private woodland and grazing land. Spruce Cottage lies between Retford and Worksop, Nottinghamshire. The cottage is well-equipped and the bedrooms have duvets with bed-linen provided. There is a BBQ. The location of this cottage is perfect for Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest, Newark and its antiques, Lincoln Cathedral, Clumber Park and is at the heart of the Pilgrim Fathers Country.
