Two luxurious self-catering holiday cottages situated at the entrance to the Langdale Valley in the unspoilt village of Elterwater in the heart of the Lake District. The 4 star main house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 sitting rooms and sleeps up to 10 + cot. There are 3 colour TVs and video, Sky Sports and Film channels. The large kitchen has an oven, hobs, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, and a drying cabinet. Meadow Bank. Cumbria Orange Hill Cottage

From the front door is the sitting room which is comfortably furnished and has TV, video and DVD player. There is an electric fire in this room in addition to the storage heaters. The kitchen is to the back of the house and has great views of the Eskdale fells. It is fully equipped with electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge with a large freezer compartment below, slimline dishwasher and washing machine. There is plenty of storage space here and a dining table with seating for four. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - a twin and a double. There is also a bathroom which has a shower above the bath. There is a patio at the back of the house which is accessed via the kitchen. There is garden furniture, a barbeque, great views and it catches the morning and early afternoon sun. The hamlet of Boot nestles in the Eskdale valley, one of the more tranquil valleys of the Lake District. A warm and comfortable house, Orange Hill Cottage is ideal for couples and small families, offering accommodation for up to four people with great views of the Lakeland fells.
