Five award winning stone 4 Star cottages on our non-working farm, in a glorious location overlooking dales and rolling countryside in the heart of the White Peak area of the Peak District. Buxton , Matlock, Bakewell, Ashbourne, Leek and Chatsworth House are all about 11 miles away on the edge of the Peak District at different points on the compass, confirming the owners claim to be very much in the heart of the White Peak area of the Peak District. (The White Peak is the area of rolling countryside, dales, streams and rivers limestone villages and dry-stone walls, which give the area so much character). Alton Towers is less than 30 minutes drive away. One two bedroomed cottage still available over New Year which has the benefit of full sky tv and Wi-Fi Internet
A 17th Century listed building of historical interest, 5 star Hillside Croft is built of warm sandstone with leaded light windows, original oak beamed ceilings and cosy inglenook fireplaces with wood burning stoves. It is carpeted throughout and has a fitted antique pine kitchen, a dining room and table to seat 10, 5 bedrooms; all with garden views. There is a patio with barbecue.
