Derbyshire The Coachmans Cottage

The Cottage at Ladyhole House is an Edwardian Bothy luxuriously converted in 1995. It is set at the top of a sweeping drive lined with mature chestnut trees and a carpet of daffodils in the Spring. It is set in mature gardens and grounds with many beautiful trees and a walled garden. Guests are very welcome to enjoy all that the gardens offer including a tennis court, croquet and barbecue. There are also stables and grazing near to the house. Quiet countryside surrounds the house, where it is possible to walk and cycle. Ashbourne the local market town is only two miles away. This cottage set in beautiful grounds of an Edwardian country house, has a luxury 5 * ETB status and sleeps 6 -7 people very comfortably. There is also a tennis court and croquet for guests to enjoy as well as the glorious setting in quiet countryside. Well equipped, guests want for nothing, with host on hand to advise or help. Derbyshire Tor View

In August 1771 Richard Arkwright began building in Cromford. He created the world’s first successful water powered cotton spinning mill. The Cottage has been newly renovated to a high spec as the owner also uses it. There are 3 double bedrooms (1 Super king size with large velux window with amazing views, 1 double bed and 2 single beds) a lounge with bed settee for a further 2 people. There is an 8 seater rustic Oak table in the spacious dining room(plus new leather chairs). The Property benefits from parking which is a must in the centre of this beautiful village. There is ample room for 3 cars. There is a large garden laid with local stone. The cottage has exposed beams throughout and exposed stone walls downstairs.  The bathroom has a whirpool spa bath and there is a futher toilet and basin downstairs.  The cottage is situated in the centre of the village with 3 pubs, 1 restaurant, chemist, grocers and post office/newsagent all in a minutes stroll.  Cromford is ideally situated for walks on the canal or in the peak district.  There is also the world famous Scarthin books which also has a vegetarian cafe. The Holmes Barn offers quality self catering accommodation holidays near Buxton, Derbyshire in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms and two “Jack & Jill” shower rooms. We are situated just off the A623 near the spa town of Buxton, and conveniently located to enable guests to visit many of Derbyshire’s attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Castleton with its many caves and much, much more. The nearest villages of Tideswell and Bradwell are approx 10 mins drive away and offer all facilities and many public houses for dining out opportunities. The market town of Chesterfield and the city of Sheffield are also within an hours drive. The accommodation can easily sleep 15/16 guests in our newly developed and completely refurbished barn. Quality holiday barn which sleeps 16/17 people. Up to 2 dogs welcome by arrangement. Ideal for birthday celebrations, reunions, hen/stag parties. Mid week dates available for small groups please ring for details. Weekend lets are a speciality. Set in the middle of the Peak District, in a rural location with stunning views.
