Home Farm Cottages
A small group of 4 country cottages at Home Farm, a Grade II listed, non-working farm, set in a quiet, peaceful hamlet with a back-cloth of the Mendip Hills. The warm, comfortable cottages, complete with a wealth of original features, can accommodate 2-8 people. Outdoor whirlpool/spa bath.
Gladwins Farm is a lovely family-run collection of 9 cottages set in 22 acres of Constable Country. Cottages to sleep from 2 to 8. Six are conversions of Tudor Barns and stables, one is a ground floor apartment and two luxury cottages sleeping 6 or 8, all in en-suite bedrooms. Heated indoor pool, sauna, hot tubs and tennis court. The village is just over half a mile away and has one of the best collections of medieval buildings in the Country and also the famous White Hart restaurant. On the site there is coarse fishing and easy walking. Colchester is 15 minutes away and the beach just 35 minutes. Loads to do and fantastic places to visit. The 5 star luxury apartment, which is self-contained and on two floors, forms part of Pump House, a large house in the country village of Great Burstead in the county of Essex. The village is close to Billericay - a small country town with strong US connections. London, Canterbury, Cambridge, Colchester and "Constable Country" can all be reached within an hour by road. There is a fast rail link to London (30 - 40 minutes). A regular bus service is available close by. Whilst a car is not essential, it would enhance your enjoyment. The accommodation in the apartment (up to 1,500 sq. ft.) has two living rooms, a dining room, a fully-fitted kitchen and the choice of one, two or three bedrooms with one to three bath/shower rooms (two en-suite).
