The market town of Bicester lies on the east of Oxfordshire, close to the border with Buckinghamshire, near the M40 and about halfway between Banbury to the north and Aylesbury to the south. Bicester has been existence since at least 1086, there is a record of it in the Domesday Book. A designer outlet retail village - Bicester Village attracts visitors for bargain shopping.
