This one bedroom stone-built holiday cottage is part of a small collection of holiday cottages on a working dairy farm near Kilmore Quay in County Wexford.  Ideal for a couple’s holiday, this rural country cottage is pet-friendly and as well as sleeping 2 people, also welcomes one well behaved pet dog. 

You can experience the best of both worlds with a stay here, as you can enjoy staying on a farm by unspoilt countryside yet are just one mile from the coast at Kilmore Quay and the upstairs bedroom boasts views out to sea towards the Saltee islands!
Inside this cosy cottage there is an open plan living area comprising of a lounge with TV, electric fire and dining area and a kitchen with microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine.  There is also one comfortable double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath (with shower over) and WC.

Outside, to the front of the property there is a private patio area complete with outdoor seating so you can sit out and soak up this tranquil rural location.  Parking is also available for one car.

For days out, walk hand in hand through the pretty seaside village of Kilmore Quay with its thatched houses and harbour which is just one mile away.  Near to Kilmore Quay are beautiful golden sandy beaches.  Angling from the shore can be enjoyed around Rostoonstown and rock pooling can be enjoyed at Forlorn Point and at Nemestown.  If you have good sea legs why not book a trip to visit one of the Saltee Islands where you can enjoy wildlife watching?  It’s also possible to enjoy a spot of horse riding in this part of County Wexford.
